Through a family friend I was offered the opportunity to be the photographer for an event for the political activism group Black Women for Obama for Change. While the group was onsite at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial on the National Mall another group of about 200 people arrived on tour buses. Seeing the placards and the t-shirts an impromptu rallying of supporters taking photos together ensued- some of which was captured here.
